Completed in 2020 the Southbank Place project takes advantage of 3 Facade Hoists ‘X Series’ Luffing/Telescoping BMUs.
With the buildings ranging from 30 to 37 storeys and the requirement for heavier pantograph-type cradles for accessing recessed areas of the facade, the machines operate larger capacity ML-150 winches.
Due to its proximity to famous London attractions, each system includes a hydraulic lift parking zone to lower the BMU from sight when not in use.
